On Saturday, April 26th 9 am – noon, The Parents’ Climate Community is bringing the first-ever Kidical Mass group ride to Austin, alongside partners Ghisallo and Yellow Bike Project.
We are so excited for this joyful, all-ages ride, which is a part of a global movement of kids, families, and allies advocating for children’s mobility, clean air, and climate rights.

What do you want other parents & guardians to know about riding bikes? I replaced my car with a cargo bike. This was a life-changing decision for our family in so many dimensions. You become part of the community you bike through. Riding a bike brings physical, mental, economic, social, and environmental benefits, all in a single two-wheel package.
Why are you participating in Kidical Mass? Advocate for safer streets for kids and everyone looking for safer alternative transportation options.
Fill in the Blank: We can make Austin safer/more fun for family bike transit by… bringing the community together and advocating for infrastructure suitable for all ages and abilities.
